CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
All of our CREON HOMES models are built of ICFs (insulated concrete forms), first and second floor. Depending on the CREON design models we also work with reinforced concrete masonry.

HOMES BUILT WITH ICF WALLS WITHSTAND HURRICANES

Homes made of ICFs or concrete blocks resist damage caused by hurricanes, tornadoes and other weather-related events.
All CREON houses have flat-roofs. A flat roof does not offer any contact surface for high winds compared to wood-frame roofs.
CREON homes do not break apart and the ICF walls / concrete block walls don´t let flying debris into the house while a hurricane.
HEALTHY AND NON-TOXIC INDOOR LIVING

Concrete masonry and ICF homes ensure a healthy, non-toxic indoor living.
A CREON home delivers improved air quality since concrete block and ICF construction eliminates the studs and cavities that can hold moisture and foster mold and mildew growth.
On the other side the full-house mechanical ventilation system provides the inhabitants automatically with fresh, pollen-filtered air without opening the windows.
RESISTANCE TO SOUND TRANSMISSION

Concrete masonry and ICF homes resists to sound transmission from traffic and other noise sources. The mass and weight of concrete in combination with the use of insulation can reduce sound penetrating through a wall by over 80 percent when compared to wood-frame constructions
A sound transmission classification of STC 50 (inaudible) is easily attainable. By comparison, a typical woodframe-constructed building has an average STC of only 25, which allows you to hear and understand voices from outside.
RESISTANCE TO TERMITE INFESTATION

You do not have to worry about termite damage with a concrete masonry/ICF house like you do with a wood-framed house. When termites invade a wood home, they eat away at its structure and cause serious damage.
No termites means that your CREON home will never be conterminated by toxic pesticides such as used by Pest-Control.
FINANCIAL ADVANTAGES..... LOWER INSURANCE RATES

Lower insurance premiums are as well among the financial advantages of concrete block homes. In addition to being more resistant to wind, concrete block and ICFs are not vulnerable to fire, mold and termites. The less risk to the insurance company, the greater the savings to you
CONCRETE MASONRY HOUSES ARE ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY

CF and concrete block homes are considered "green" or environmentally friendly.
Buildings constructed with concrete blocks or with ICFs are designed to last for centuries, no decades. Concrete block and ICF walls conserve forest resources and their energy efficiency reduces fossil fuel consumption. It´s estimated a
3.800 sqf home saves up to 25 large trees when compared to conventional construction. Concrete is inert, non-toxic and produced from sustainable resources that are recycable.
